Commission of an iPhone case for a friend made by hand and thread painted with Madeira threads in shades of green, blue and orange

I upcycled the mother of pearl button (came from my mother in law) and used some repurposed velvet fabric that used to be curtain fabric for the lining of this project.

This was made playing with the princess pleating machine- a bit of a beast with around 25 needles that all need threading and break on you if you so much as look at it. The fabric ( lawn type cotton) had been previously treated with brusho watercolours. 

I also got these fabric labels this week - for future textile projects! 

Getting organised

Got my business cards through the post the other day - very happy with them!

Just finished making little Christmas trees and stars to go into The Cloisters Gallery in Appleby. Quite proud of these and enjoyed making them. Not hard to do so nice to feel very productive!
